Innothium LLC, based on Albuquerque, NM, was founded in 2014. Innothium aims at breaking into the fast-growing market of energy storage in the form of high capacity, rapid charging, long-life lithium batteries by using Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) equipment to scale up production of electrode materials to improve the performance of lithium batteries.
Over the years, we've achieved significant milestones by expanding ALD to coat NCM523, NCM 888 and other lithium battery materials. It is a big success for us to find out the obvious finding to improve the battery life time and performance. We also start to use physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) research for its application on watch belt, metal surface, automotive thin-film applications, kitchen & bath door/ windows hardware coating, with PVD coatings, the critical components will last longer, operate more efficiently due to lower friction, withstand high temperature, and resist corrosion. That is why our company provides coating research with our global partners. Our partnerships have allowed us to broaden our applications across various materials and industries.
